The Orbiter Race Timing System will register each lap and record race times as runners, equipped with smart chips, pass an Orbiter RFID reader. The device may be used for many types of events, including military and sports fitness tests, road races, school physical education and even vertical feet tracking on ski slopes.

The Orbiter system comes with easy to use software that allows individuals and teams to be enrolled, and race times recorded accessed through easy to use reports. The wireless system allows for unattended, automated, and self timed races.

RFID tags are detected when presented within close proximity to a reader. Software tracks racers and teams results. It is a completely "touchless" system. Our systems have 15 and 30 foot read ranges.

Rain or shine, the ORBITER works in cold weather temperatures down to -20 degrees Farenheit on battery power, and -30 degrees Farenheit on AC power.

We offer the ORBITER in three range designs: short (8 inch), medium (15 feet) and long (50 feet).
AC or Battery Power

Our battery lasts up to 28 hours for use during 24-hour events even in extreme cold. The battery also operates for several days in automatic standby mode. Every ORBITER system comes with a built-in battery charger.
